Live Donor Patient Education Class

1st Tuesday of every month

Living donor transplantation is a process by which a healthy person donates approximately ½ of their liver to a loved one who is on the liver transplant waiting list. This class is offered to patient’s, families, and friends interested in the living donor liver transplant process. In this forum, attendees are educated about the evaluation process, the surgery, risks/benefits, and recovery of the donor. Questions are welcomed. Families of the potential donors are also encouraged to attend.
