Jeffrey A. Kahn, MD

Dr Kahn is originally from New York City. He went to medical school at the SUNY Upstate School of Medicine in Syracuse, New York. He did his residency in internal medicine at Emory University in Atlanta, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology and liver diseases at USC. He then did advanced training in liver transplantation at Cedars Sinai Medical Center. He has been a member of the Liver Transplant Team at USC for three years. His major interests include all aspects of transplant and non-transplant hepatology, hepatocellular carcinoma (liver cancer) and endoscopic treatment of portal hypertension. His research interests include hepatopulmonary syndrome and hepatocellular carcinoma.
